How do you envision a residency? In September 2024, Rural Radicals gathered with 25 creatives from around the world for a 10-day journey through the heart of Testa Dell’Acqua, Sicily. Together, we reimagined the potential of this land during a two-day workshop with Space of Urgency. We asked ourselves: How can we weave tourism into the fabric of local values? How can regional entrepreneurs become partners in this evolving dream? From these questions, Meraki Residence develops—a sanctuary for musicians, actors, architects, and more—where community-driven creativity will continue to take root. This is just the beginning.
