Following your dreams can be scary and break new ground, both literally and figuratively. Rural Radicals wants to offer the best services and support to help realise as many non-urban creative spaces as possible!
Knowledge bank
Rural development driven by culture is a relatively new phenomenon. Rural Radicals keeps tabs on the expanding amount of research that is being published. Together with the gathering of European, national and regional rural policies, we gain valuable insights that we use in our one-on-one engagement with spaces and in our advocacy for improved access to space for Europe’s rural areas.
Investor matchmaking
We are currently developing a tool for investment matchmaking. Once it’s ready this is the place to be if you’re ready to make the jump and launch your project in a rural area but lack the funds to get started. We’re talking social purpose real estate and creative projects funded via share funding, crowdfunding and other new ways of funding- Hooray for the decentralization of finance!
Connect
Of course you are not alone. More and more people are looking for a place to start anew and follow their creative dreams outside of the city. In fact, we believe this will only increase in the coming years, providing a unique opportunity for communities to form and grow together. Building meaningful relationships with others is one of the most powerful ways to move you forward, and we strive to create an environment that encourages community building. Giving workshops and public talks are great ways to bring people together and connect with each other. We have done several successful workshops and talks throughout Europe, and are continuing to explore ways to foster the growth of communities.

For both emerging and existing spaces as well as local stakeholders such as municipalities or institutions, RR can provide tailor-made consulting services. From international partnerships to program development or creating a strong business case for investors.
